The Multi XL is an enlarged version of the Multi Control instrument with 40 mm (1.6") clearly readable digits. The large digits allow this instrument to be mounted far away from the steering position and still be seen clearly. it is for this reason the push buttons on the Multi XL have been removed. This instrument is fully operated from either the Multi Control or Remote Control instrument. The high contrast, low multiplexed LCD provides excellent readability in bright sunlight as well as dims for night navigation. The benefit of the customized main and sub-functions are virtually unlimited number of user directed combinations for displaying the NX2 information.

             NX2 GPS Speed 

The NX2 GPS Speed repeaters give easy on the eye readings of boat speed. Two scales are available:
 

0-16 knots for sailboats.
 

                                    0-50 knots for power boats.

Together with Nexus Autopilot, a rudder position instrument can be used to give precise information about the rudder angle. A great benefit, for sail racing and manoeuvring in harbors.

The Silva NX2 analog Compass repeater and compass heading displays have superb readability. A sensitive pointer on the 360° scale gives an accurate and stable compass heading.

                 NX2 Depth 

The Depth instrument gives an easy to read display, of the true depth in metres or feet. The logarithmic scales show shallower sections more clearly:

                 NX2 Speed

Displays an easily read indication of the current boat speed in knots:

                                    NX2 Depth 0-50 K for Powerboats
 

The NX2 analog Speed Trim instrument, displays the difference in speed since last trimming. It can be operated from a Remote Control instrument, Wind Data or the Multi Center. The analog display gives you fast, accurate and easily readable information about the trends and performances of the following speeds [in %]:

• Monitor the change in boat speed

• Monitor the change in speed over ground

• Monitor the change in VMG

• Monitor the change in speed towards a waypoint

• Monitor the change of true wind speed

• Monitor the change of apparent wind speed

• Monitor the change of speed of current

• Monitor the change of target boat speed

Target boat speed must be calculated and transmitted from a PC. The PC transmits via the NMEA to the server which in turn sends the information to instruments on the Nexus Network.

This instrument relays the NX2 server calculations to the system, enabling you to quickly and easily set an exact course to steer towards your goal. You can select from several settings:

• Compass steering

• Wind steering

• Apparent wind angle for wind shifts

• Waypoint steering

• Bearing to waypoint (BTW)

• Course to steer (CTS) including Set and Drift

NX2 GPS Course displays heading over ground from a GPS receiver, allowing for superior readability and heading presentation. A sensitive 360° needle gives you an accurate and stable compass heading.
