Benefits of combining Searchlight and
Thermal Camera on same platform
!

  • Saves Money:  Searchlight and Camera are now on same Aiming Platform, which eliminates the need for additional PAN/Tilt equipment!

  • Saves Mounting Space:  No additional mounting space is required for Camera Pan/Tilt Equipment, thereby eliminating the need for additional equipment on the exterior of vessel!

  • Sleek Appearance:  The camera housing blends in aesthetically with the Streamlined Searchlight Design, thus maintaining the Beauty and Sleek appearance of Yachts, Fast Ferry Boats and other Passenger Vessels!

  • Strategic Use of Searchlight and Thermal Camera:  The camera can be turned ON while cruising, with the searchlight OFF.  Then, if an image on the screen needs to be further identified, simply turn ON the Searchlight Switch.  The Beam will instantly and accurately illuminate the object or person, because the searchlight is already aimed directly in-line with the camera!

  • Non-Lethal Deterrence Increases Safety:  If a person is detected by the Camera, and appears to be hostile...since the searchlight is already aimed directly in-line with the camera, the person will be "instantly blinded", by simply turning ON the searchlight.  The U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard have been using this technique for years, to strategically deny the night vision of hostile individuals, in dangerous situations!

  • Long Distance Surveillance:  Thermal imager will detect a human from 1000 to 2000 feet in total darkness, and the world's most powerful streamlined searchlight will project a beam over 2 miles on a clear night!
