Note: Remote distant Electric Controlled units have all the features listed above for manual searchlights plus the following features

Lamps: The lamp used determines to operating voltage of the searchlight. DEC (Distant Electric Searchlights) have 110v controls. We recommend for superior performance three lamps;  the BTR 1000w 120vac for vented 12 and 15inch searchlights. The BTM 500w 120vac for all non vented searchlights. The BTR and BTM have medium prefocus lamp bases. For DC operation the FDS for 24vdc with a 2-pin prefocus base. DEC searchlights can be powered from 24vdc with an inverter to operate the control motors. For 230vac operation we suggest a 2:1 step down transformer be used.
