Pillows, - consisting of resistant fibre glass filled with intumescent grain, - or Sponges made from a foam rubber-like intumescent material, are put tightly into remaining space of penetration : the sealing is installed!
	bst Fire Stop Pillows are certainly the easiest way to install a tested fire-resistant sealing for cable penetrations. They are especially recommended for temporary sealings in building constructions whenever cables are laid subsequently, but they can also be used as a permanent and durable sealing against fire.
	Similar to Fire Stop Pillows the SPG Fire Stop Sponges can easily be installed by an untrained worker. By pressing the material together, cutting it with a knife or simply tearing it off plugs and blocks can be adapted to every form required. Sealing can be disassembled any time and material may be used again for the renewed sealing.
