The bst Fire Stop Collar is the result of an intensive research in the field of preventive fire protection and is used for the sealing of combustible synthetic pipes. Modular design. for standard diameters the collar is supplied ready for installation. or you adapt steel sections individually on site. Simple. fast. flexible!

Design
The bst-Fire Stop Collar "BRM" is the result of an intensive research in the field of preventive fire protection and is used for the sealing of combustible synthetic pipes. The modular design of collar permits the sealing of any pipe dimension by putting the required sections together.
Steel sections in five basic sizes with a core made from intumescent material are linked together by hinge pins to form a chain. Number of sections depends on diameter of pipe.

Function
Combustible pipes made from synthetic material already melt at 140° C. Before this temperature is reached. the agent contained in the core of steel sections starts to expand to a multiple of its volume (intumesces) with an expansion pressure up to 10 bar. thus sealing off the softening pipe and creating a gastight. fire-resistant barrier.

Application
For walls 2 pcs. 1 each side of wall. for floors 1 pc. at lower side of floor.

Very simple assembly by hinge pins, thickness of sections only 15mm, reduced storage space!

Delivery Set
 Put together by bst, the standard delivery set for a pipe sealing consists of:
1.    1 section chain (number of sections according to table above)
2.    1 locking pin
3.    3-4 fixing brackets (see table above)
4.    metal expansion bolts M8, depending on number of fixing brackets

For Self Assembly
1.   Chains consisting of 10-12 sections, according to below table
2.   Number of fixing brackets and other accessories as desired
