SB Series of Frames

Design
Construction frames for wall and floor penetrations in concrete, masonry and lightweight walls are made from angle steel, thickness 5mm, as standard version. Bars between frame fields on multiple frames made from flat steel 8mm. SB, SBL and LB frames are hot-galvanized. SBO frames (with removable top and bolts) are used for existing cable installations. They are galvanized.

Tolerance
SB (SBO) frames are manufactured with a tolerance of -0,0mm/+0,3mm for each frame field, so that on frame combinations the overall tolerance could be up to 3mm.

Material Quality
Standard: steel St.37.1, hot-galvanized.
Aluminium, material Al.Mg.Si.05, pickled or anodized.
High-grade steel, material 1.4301/A2 (DIN 17456 or AISI 304) resp. 1.4571/A4 (DIN 17456 or AISI 316Ti).

Installation with bst Moulds

made from Austyrol (styro-foam), they facilitate concreting and save expensive formwork. Standard length 30cm, longer lengths upon request. For wall thickness < 30cm mould can be shortened by hand saw!

Installation in Plaster-board Walls

Installation of frame during the erection of wall. Care has to be taken that mechanical load on wall, caused by weight of frame, is reduced as far as possible by supporting constructions.
