Installation

cover inner sides of frame...

...and all rubber parts liberally with bst-lubricant

Install insert- or multi insert modules according to filling plan.

Anchor plates put between the module rows facilitate the assembly and increase sealing effect.

bst multi insert modules reduce assembly time, single half-modules are simply torn-off.

Remaining space to be filled with filler bocks or multi filler blocks. Insert last anchor plate in due time!

Most important : lubricate all inner surfaces of wedge K-120 sufficiently! Put the side wedges around the central wedge...

...and press the K-120 above the last anchor plate into the frame, but apply pressure only to the head of the bolt!

Tighten the bolt with socket I.D. 17 mm and ratchet or electric drill.

If at a later date more cables need to be added to the frame, the frame can be opened, the new cable added, and then closed again at any time.

Unscrew central bolt and remove it!

Insert puller screw (attached to puller with a chain) into the tapped hole of central wedge.

Hook puller to the screw and pull out the wedge by wrench I.D. 22mm.

Design For bst-frame types SB, SS, LB and SB-180/240/360. Multi insert modules, multi filler blocks or insert modules made from halogen-free and highly fire-resistant elastomeric rubber (HFE). Module length 60mm.
	Multi insert modules - developed by bst and well-proven - in sizes 15, 20, 30 and 40mm reduce the assembly time considerably. Cable diameters from 3 to 34mm, width of module row 120mm, suitable for all frames of Register 1 and 3. Half-modules available also in singles. 2 half-modules required for 1 cable!
	bst insert modules are available in sizes 60, 90 and 120mm for cable diameters from 32 to 114mm. For one cable one insert module is required.
	Filler blocks and multi filler blocks in sizes 5, 10, 20, 30 (multi) and 40, 60, 90, 120 (single) are to be used for filling the reserve space for later cable installations.
	For the sealing of elliptical wave guides oval modules in sizes 30, 40, 60 and 90mm are supplied. The oval module plus an appropriate insert module are delivered in a set. For each cable one oval module is required.
	In addition, half modules in sizes 180, 240 and 360mm for frames SB-180/240/360 are available. These modules are suitable for pipes with diameters from 127 to 315mm. 2 half-modules for each pipe required.
